Carlos has over thirty years of international experience in consumer goods market strategies, channel development and brand management.
Before becoming an investment banker, Carlos was President of Latin America for Mars Inc. As a member of the Mars global management team, Carlos led the strategy for the Global Dog portfolio and its digital transformation. As a General Manager for Mars in Brazil, Carlos led a business transformation that doubled the business and expanded into other segments within the pet food category. He opened the Andean region after joining Mars Caribbean and Central America in Puerto Rico, where the company is the leader in chocolate, gum and sugar confections.
Carlos started his career in Unilever PLC as a Graduate Trainee after graduating in Business from Universidad Javeriana in Colombia. Has a Masters in Strategic Marketing from the CESA business school and completed the Stanford Executive Education program on Strategy and Organization.
